Payment and Medical Aids

My fees per session are based on the recommended medical aid rates.

I am contracted outside of medical aids, hence clients will receive an invoice and must claim back from the medical aids. Most medical Aids will reimburse clients in full for sessions with a psychologist registered with the Board of Health Care Funders. It is useful to chat to your medical aid before the first session so that you can find out how many sessions are covered by your policy. Financial considerations and medical aid budgets must be taken into account so that an affordable treatment plan can be arranged.
